Francis B. Majorie P.C.
Principal
Mr. Majorie is the founder of The Majorie Firm, which
provides litigation, crisis management, and turn-key dispute
resolution services. Mr. Majorie has been responsible for handling
several hundred million dollars of business problems for clients
during his career. His clients have ranged from billion dollar
entities to start-ups and individuals and have spanned numerous
industries.
Mr. Majorie brings several skill-sets to a client engagement, depending on a
client's needs. His role ranges from adviser, to negotiator, to litigator.
Mr. Majorie also helps clients coordinate the efforts of lawyers,
accountants and other professionals the client may have already
retained to ensure the right questions are being asked, the right goals
are being set, and the right strategy is being implemented.
Mr. Majorie began his legal career with Skadden Arps in New York City where
he worked primarily on litigation arising out of hostile mergers and
acquisitions. Following Skadden Arps, he worked with the commercial litigation
firm of Bickel & Brewer, before subsequently establishing his own practice,
The Majorie Firm.
Mr. Majorie received a Bachelor of Arts degree, from the University of
Connecticut in 1980 and a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University
School of Law, in 1983. While in law school, he was a member of the
Boston University Law Review. Mr. Majorie was also a Paul J. Liacos
Scholar (1981-1982); a Paul J. Liacos Distinguished Scholar (1980-1981);
an Honors Scholar (1979-1980); and a recipient of the
Michie/Lawyers' Co-op Award in Civil Procedure (1980-1981). Mr. Majorie
has since authored or co-authored articles and course materials, has
appeared frequently on national television and in other media, and has
coordinated, hosted, and/or lectured at numerous conferences relating to
the solution of business problems through formal and informal means of
dispute resolution. Mr. Majorie is a member of numerous bar associations
and is admitted to practice in Texas, New York, and Connecticut and before
numerous federal courts and administrative agencies.

Jon Mark Robertson
Of Counsel
Mark Robertson has four decades of law and commercial real estate experience, including 18 years at Cushman & Wakefield and 5 years with Insignia Capital Advisors’ southwest U.S. region in servicing the U.S. institutional and corporate real estate communities as well as in Mexico and South America. He most recently operated PRG Realty Investors LP, and its numerous affiliates (for 8 years) in developing several high profile properties, along with property acquisition and tenant rep brokerage, and Mr. Robertson continues to be instrumental in creating capital for international portfolios and major developments.
In addition to representation of most major U.S. institutions, Mr. Robertson has represented clients in transactions in seven European countries, two in Africa, numerous clients in Hong Kong, Japan and elsewhere in the Far East. His career has involved, as well as the advising of major corporate clients in their strategic use decisions, the organization of corporate structures for real estate holding companies, and consulting in connection with registration of private placements and securitizations. His career has included many of the largest real estate transactions in the region, and he has been a leading figure in advising financial institutions, banks, and government assets and portfolios.
Mr. Robertson is a Texas native and graduate of Baylor University and its Jaworski School of Law. His numerous affiliations and memberships include: Membership in the Urban Land Institute, International Affiliate SIOR, the Real Estate Council and memberships in charitable, non-profit and other professional organizations.
He has lived and worked in Dallas in law and the national real estate arena throughout his career.
